What are your strengths?

Dyslexia is a learning difference that makes reading, writing, and spelling harder. It happens because the brain processes words and sounds in a different way. It is estimated that 1 in 10 people have some degree of dyslexia.

People with dyslexia are just as smart as anyone else—they might find reading tricky but often have strengths in creativity, problem-solving, and thinking in new ways.

Research by the University of Strathclyde has found that people with dyslexia are much better at being curious and exploring new ideas and more likely to be found in careers where this is an advantage, such as art, media, architecture, creativity, engineering and inventing things!
