Next Steps Ready is a legacy site developed by the Careerpilot Team based at the University of Bath. Careerpilot will close in December 2026.
Next Steps Ready has taken some of the content from Careerpilot to create a free, simplified site, with no login or saved data. The site enables students to take a quiz, explore jobs, see their post‑16 and post‑18 choices, and supports them to get ready for work experience and their future career.
Resources for teachers have been developed which include Careerpilot legacy resources, e.g. job sector posters with Labour Market Information, resources to support careers in the curriculum and lesson plans that support pre‑16 careers.
